Antiseptic BZK Wipe

Benzalkonium Chloride Antiseptic wipes and towelletes should be present in every first aid kit. They are very handy for cleaning out small injuries such as scapes and abrasions before sticking on a bandage. It is a good idea to wipe cuts and scrapes with an antiseptic wipe even if you are applying an ointment, like a triple antibiotic, to the wound. Infections can be terrible, and can come from the smallest neglected scrape, so every bit of help is valuable. 1st aid update: Hydrogen Peroxide is no longer a part of first aid care.
