This is one item sites never have enough of in supply. To move the injured safely and efficiently in an emergency, rescue stretchers are a must. The Life Lite Emergency Stretcher is our recommendation for an affordable, lightweight and strong disaster evacuation stretcher that can be disinfected between carries.

Its' made from corrugated plastic that provides support and rigidity while weighing in at only 4 lbs. The unique design allows up to ten rescuers to carry a victim as heavy as 500 lbs. from the sides of the stretcher. We suggest 2 stretchers for every 150 persons at your site.

TIP! When carrying victims on stretchers, always move them in the direction of their feet. When moving stretcher victims head first, you risk bumping their head on door jambs, etc. but more importantly, moving the victims head first will make them nauseous. If you are carrying patients downstairs, wrap duct tape once around the feet and then through the handles to keep your victim from sliding.

Emergency Stretchers allow School Disaster Teams and Emergency Response teams (CERT) to move patients quickly without aggravating injuries. Remember to prevent cross contamination of victims by disinfecting your emergency stretchers with antimicrobial wipes of any body fluids between carries. Because it is non-porous it meets the latest blood borne pathogen requirements and will last for years and years in storage.
