Finally an affordable solution that can be called a
"Real" First Aid Kit. This is the emergency bag that is packed with medical supplies that the firefighters carry. Everyone knows aspirin and band-aids do not make a first aid kit. A
''Real'' First Aid Kit should be able to handle almost every type of true life threatening first aid emergency. Our 70 item red bag does just that. You can manage CPR, Severe Bleeding, Shock, Burns, Broken Bones, along with minor first aid emergencies.
What separates our kit from the rest, are the items in our medical bag. Beginning with our american made CPR mask. This double one-way face shield is the best on the market. Next is our state of the art Burn Gel Dressing. Stops burning, kills the pain, reduces infections and does not stick to the burn. How about sterile water for flushing wounds, cooling burns. Who else puts a 12 inch cardboard splint in their kits? Or EMT shears? Not to mention the trauma dressings.
Just as important is what items we do not put in our kits. Items that are not within current first aid protocols. Beware of kits containing Hydogen Peroxide (kills tissue & damages capillaries, grows bacteria), Alcohol wipes, Butterfly bandages, these items are no longer part of first aid protocol. Our kits also do not contain any asprin, as it increases bleeding.
TIP! We don't suggest using feminine hygiene pads in place of Trauma Dressings. Feminine pads absorb too much blood, they are not designed to support clotting which is necessary to control severe bleeding.
